Description

Delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies with toasted pecans.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup toasted pecans (chopped)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the toasted pecans and chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
