- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup toasted pecans (chopped)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the toasted pecans and chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
