Description

A delicious and healthy pizza alternative using cottage cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (Good Culture preferred for thickness)
  • 3 eggs (room temperature for better binding)
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (McCormick recommended for the best herb balance)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper (freshly cracked works best)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 inch baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Blend until smooth and free of lumps.
  3. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is light golden and the crust is firm to the touch.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before adding toppings.
  6. Add your favorite pizza toppings and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes until the cheese melts and toppings are warm.
  7. Let the pizza cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

  • The cottage cheese used can affect the thickness of the crust, so choose a good quality brand.
