- 14 ounces diced tomatoes (drained)
- 5 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon light brown sugar (or honey)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Add 14 ounces diced tomatoes, 5 ounces tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon dried oregano, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon light brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper to a blender or food processor.
- Pulse 15-16 times or until the mixture turns smooth and uniform without any visible tomato chunks.
- Place the sauce in a lidded jar and store it in the fridge until ready to use.
