This grilled lemon oregano chicken is a flavorful and juicy dish, perfect for any occasion!

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, dried oregano, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight).
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F) or oven to 400°F (200°C) with parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Grill chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Alternatively, bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with tzatziki sauce and pita bread.
