Description

A delicious creamy pasta dish with chicken that’s easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 chicken breasts (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze, scraping the skillet to lift any browned bits, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Return the cooked pasta and seared chicken to the skillet, tossing everything together. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding more cheese or a splash of white wine while cooking.
