Instructions
- Finely chop onion, pickles (if not using relish), and hard-boiled egg (if using).
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and ketchup until smooth and uniform.
- Stir in relish, minced onion, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add hot sauce for heat, if desired.
- Gently fold in the egg for extra texture (optional).
- Transfer to an airtight jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using.
