Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, finely chopped (optional)
  • Dash of hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Finely chop onion, pickles (if not using relish), and hard-boiled egg (if using).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and ketchup until smooth and uniform.
  3. Stir in relish, minced onion, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Add hot sauce for heat, if desired.
  5. Gently fold in the egg for extra texture (optional).
  6. Transfer to an airtight jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using.
  7. Stir before serving and enjoy as dressing, dip, or sandwich spread.
