- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
Instructions
- Prepare the Hot Chocolate:
– In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, heavy cream, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and sugar.
– Stir consistently until the chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
– Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. - Prepare the Mugs:
– Rim the mugs with a little chocolate syrup.
– Dip the rims of the mugs into graham cracker crumbs to coat. - Assemble the Drinks:
– Pour the hot chocolate into the prepared mugs.
– Top each mug with a generous amount of mini marshmallows. - Toast the Marshmallows:
– Use a kitchen torch to lightly toast the marshmallows until golden brown.
– If you don’t have a torch, place mugs under a broiler for 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning. - Finish with Garnishes:
– Drizzle chocolate syrup over the toasted marshmallows.
Notes
- For an extra creamy texture, substitute more heavy cream for some of the milk.
- Use flavored chocolate chips (like mint or caramel) for a unique twist.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
