Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese and self-rising flour. Stir until a soft dough forms. It may look slightly sticky at first, but that is exactly what you want.
  3. Scoop small portions of dough and gently roll them into bite-sized tots using your hands. Do not overwork the dough; a light touch keeps them tender.
  4. Arrange the tots on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the tots are golden and lightly crisp on the outside.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. They firm up slightly as they rest.
