A delicious creamy shrimp tagliatelle recipe with sautéed mushrooms and garlic.

- 8 oz tagliatelle pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, deveined
- 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tagliatelle in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté sliced mushrooms and minced garlic until golden brown (4-5 minutes).
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque (3-4 minutes).
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss cooked tagliatelle into the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add more vegetables, such as spinach or bell peppers, for added nutrition.
- You can substitute the shrimp with chicken or a plant-based protein for a different version.
