Description

A delicious creamy shrimp tagliatelle recipe with sautéed mushrooms and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz tagliatelle pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, deveined
  • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tagliatelle in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté sliced mushrooms and minced garlic until golden brown (4-5 minutes).
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque (3-4 minutes).
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Toss cooked tagliatelle into the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add more vegetables, such as spinach or bell peppers, for added nutrition.
