A simple recipe for a homemade coffee syrup to enhance your beverages.
Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated white sugar
- 1 ½ cups strongly brewed coffee (or 1 ½ cups water plus 5 tablespoons instant coffee)
Instructions
- Stir the sugar and coffee together in a pot, bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- Strain out any particles of coffee through a fine mesh sieve over a bowl.
- Pour the coffee syrup into a jar or bottle and keep in the fridge for up to 4 weeks.
