A light and fluffy whipped cream perfect for topping desserts.

- 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Chill bowl and beaters for 15 minutes before beginning.
- Add heavy whipping cream to the bowl.
- Beat until just beginning to thicken. You should be able to see tracks in the cream.
- Add the vanilla and powdered sugar.
- Continue beating until whipped cream reaches desired consistency. Do not overwhip or it will begin to turn to butter.
- Chill any leftover whipped cream.
Notes
- Make sure your bowl and beaters are cold for the best results.
- Adjust the amount of sugar to taste if you prefer it sweeter.
