Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, chili flakes (if using), and olive oil. Mix until just combined.
  2. With damp hands, divide the mixture and shape onto skewers into oval sausage-like forms. Press to secure.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
  4. Grill skewers 4–5 minutes per side, turning carefully, until fully cooked and lightly charred. Internal temp should reach 165°F.
  5. Let rest a few minutes. Garnish with dill if using, and serve hot with tzatziki, salad, or warm pita.
