Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- as needed Sprinkles or colored sugar, for decorating
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until well combined.
- Fill a cookie press with the dough and press cookies onto prepared baking sheets. Decorate with sprinkles or colored sugar if desired.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on wire racks.
