Description

A delicious stir-fry featuring tender chicken and flat rice noodles, flavored with a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 200g flat rice noodles
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Optional: A splash of chili oil for heat
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the flat rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced chicken with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  4. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and sauté until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, around 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan with the chicken. Stir to combine and let it bubble for 1-2 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together, ensuring the noodles are evenly coated with the delicious sauce.
  7. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. If you like it spicy, add a splash of chili oil.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for an extra touch.
